A $30 million grate was awarded to a partnership of dozens of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia companies, universities, and nonprofit organizations calling themselves the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining.
The partnership will work to educate and train the use of advanced technology in manufacturing to the Rapid Technologies & Additive Manufacturing community or what is often termed ‘3-D printing’ or ‘rapid prototyping’.
