300 New Aircraft Engine Orders Coming to GE Plant in Greenville

The General Electric plant in Greenville, South Carolina, which employs around 200 people and makes turbine airfoils and turbine blades, will soon benefit from new orders that will ensure steady employment at the plant for a number of years.

The company recently announced at the Farnborough International Airshow near London that it has pending over 300 new orders for aircraft engines.
