Colleges and employers in Massachusetts have teamed up to help students get the training they need to receive their credentials while simultaneously making a living and provide skills for their employers.

Manufacturers and community colleges in central Massachusetts have created partnerships to help match students’ skills with open positions in manufacturing jobs in the area.

Representatives of both colleges and employers acknowledged that the skills needed in today’s manufacturing world are more advanced than in the past.
