Machining Companies Demonstrate Use of Internet to Promote Business

The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), the largest machining show in North America, occurs every 2 years in Chicago. Machining companies from 119 countries display their products and advertisements, displaying also a bifurcation of old ways of doing business, and new ways of connecting and spreading the company name.

The Internet by far outweighed success in company promotion to the now antiquated methods of social media.

There is a resistance to change, but history demonstrates that industries and companies that resist technological and social change do stagnate and will be surpassed by new inventions and developments.
