Rolls-Royce will open an Advanced Airfoil Machining Facility in Prince George County, its second plant.
The project will cost $136 million and has projected to create 140 jobs manufacturing turbine blades and nozzle guide vanes. The facility will share a campus with the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing, a collaborative research center for advanced manufacturing research and technology.
Rolls Royce plans to complete the plant construction by the end of next year.
