SME Helping to Fill Skilled Labor Jobs

Currently the manufacturing industry has yet to fill over 600,000 jobs, and experts expect that number to jump to three million by 2015.

SME, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, now works with trainers and educators in the industry to try and get skilled laborers in the job market.

It plans to create better and more concise programs that meet the qualifications and certifications companies need to hire new professionals.
