Thomas Survey Shows Manufacturing Health In U.S.

There’s good news about the health of the American manufacturing industry, according to research recently conducted by ThomasNet.com.

According to the Thomas survey — known as an “Industry Market Barometer” — U.S. manufacturers have benefitted by employing new growth strategies, including, among other things, creating more jobs for American workers, investing in capital equipment, ramping up production and emphasizing popular slogans like “made in the U.S.A.” as a way of competing against foreign manufacturers.

The implementation of such stragegies has met with success over the last year, which has seen a marked expansion in the domestic manufacturing sector.
