U.S. Vehicle Sales Strong in January … Bodes Well for Moldmakers

Sales of new automobiles was about 10% higher in January than it was for the previous January. This is good news for the American economy, and in particular the plastic molding industry. The cars being made in today’s market are made with plastic and composite materials in order to improve gas mileage with lighter weight materials. The trend in car buying also shows an increase in domestic models, which is a good thing for parts makers.
