Wind Turbine Engineers Protecting Our Little Batty Friends

Ultrasonic microphones are being placed on wind turbine farms to monitor bat death rates caused by the giant fans. Environmental scientists claim that one of the few downsides of wind power is the harm it causes to wildlife. The new system, called Rebat, will be used by biologists to measure exactly how many bats lose their life to these turbines.
