Mitsui Seiki USA Inc. took a survey from local buyers to find out what their customers wanted in a machining center to produce turbine blades.
They wanted something more efficient; faster, smaller, accurate and affordable. So the company produced the 5-axis CNC vertical machining center called the Vertex 550-5XB to fill that demand.
It is able to work on titanium as well as steel components, and works in manual and automatic modes.
