A nuclear power plant in Limerick in Pennsylvania has shut down one of its units for “routine inspections”.
However, some concern has been raised, as earlier this year on April 19th, the same unit had to be shut down for an electrical problem.
The Limerick Generation Co. says that there should be no need to worry, as the unit is just going through “state-of-the-art” inspections, and that the unit is very safe, and poses no risk to the public.
