Anyone that frequently drives a vehicle has more than likely seen construction workers wearing neon orange or green vests that catch motorists eye and prevents injury from being struck by a vehicle.
However, how is the guy high in the crane in danger of being hit by a vehicle? Why should he have to wear that obnoxious color?
Unless the job requires high visibility, workers complain about requirements for all workers to wear these colors. When is it considered overkill in safety?
