The Society of Manufacturing Engineers has given out their awards for: advancement of manufacturing, merit, professional development, and communication
Gold, silver, and bronze awards were offered based upon the level of success and improvement of each company.
Two chapters, Chapter 39, Seattle; Chapter 186, Waterloo, Iowa, won golds. Six chapter won silver awards, and eleven chapters won bronze awards.
The awards highlight the advancement of technology in the manufacturing engeneering field, and is a notable feat to win.
